Usually, Friday the 13th is a day when things go wrong. But not for NHSScotland when they launched the second version of ORAS – the Online Recording and Assessment System developed by MDC Learning Systems on Friday 13th of April.
Over a year in the making, NHSScotland and MDC brought the project in on time and to budget through effective partnerships with the Better Blood Transfusion Programme, Scottish National Blood Transfusion Programme, Scottish Executive, NHS Lothian and Scotland’s Health on the Web (SHOW).
Sandra Gray, ORAS Project Board Chair, said:
“This has been an excellent example of collaborative working between MDC, BBTP, SEHD and SHOW. The site looks fantastic and I am sure you would all agree we have created a product which we can all be extremely proud of and will continue to be at the forefront of e-learning in the NHS.”
The Online Recording and Assessment System (ORAS) is a learner management system for NHSScotland. It enables learners to register and access learning materials and administrators to monitor and report on training progress.
